A Book That Changed My Life

I LOVE reading and have so many books that have changed my life in some way.

The Bible is the most life changing for me. The impact is tremendously great from many fronts.

I’d also say my favorite book that’s also changed my life is Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. You can read my review here. Published in 1605, it’s such a fun, hilarious, satyrical adventure story and has such meaning and cultural depth that is shared, one I remember deeply connecting to when I read it for the first time in high school.

I love the book and the movie. I love the book so much and used to have the vinyl record, from the musical called Man of La Mancha, which I adored and played a lot. However, my mother turned the record into a craft. Still sad about it, haha. It was barely scratched. Recollections may vary I suppose. It is a cute craft I must say. So on brighter side note, here’s what happened to the record.
