The Joy and Blessings of Rain

The air is heavy,

Clouds are rolling through.

It’s that time of day again,

Rainy season falls upon us shortly after noon.

The spooky abyss of fog enshrouds me,

O how I love riding bikes in the rain.

What blessed joy for our crops,

My water loving basil was not planted in vain.

But I better make my way home,

On ground in a place that will soon be flooded.

I definitely don’t want to get stuck again,

In a globby goo of chocolate bars that have melted.
