Mail’s here!

I have followed Wayne Goss on YouTube for years. He is an amazing makeup artist, who is so humble and talented. I was so excited to hear about his hard work and dedication toward creating a lip product collection. So when I officially got the notice that they were indeed coming out and available for purchase, I had to quickly decide which of each and what colors I wanted before they completely sold out. I knew they would go fast!

I decided to get a lip pencil, two lipsticks, and a gloss. I tried to get colors that looked unique to my makeup collection and ones that I knew I would be wearing late into the autumn season.

I love the descriptors as advertised on the website, so here is what I received. So beautiful!

The Wayne Goss The Luxury Lip Collection.

Discover three essentials for your lip wardrobe from Wayne Goss. Designed for effortless wear alone or together, the Luxury Lip Collection draws on Wayne’s personal palette of timeless, wearable shades to enhance your natural beauty. Choose from lipstick, liner, and gloss to create iconic lip looks that exude lived-in elegance on everyone.

You can see the entire collection on the Beautylish website.

The Essential Lip Pencil

Add effortless definition to your lips with this velvety lip liner. The Essential Lip Pencil glides on smoothly, leaving crisp, intensely pigmented lines behind.

“These are true kohl liners, so they sharpen to a precise tip for perfect lines. Pick your nude and apply all over or outline your lips. The result? Beautiful.” — Wayne Goss

I chose this natural pink-brown color to go with the gloss I got.

The Luxury Cream Lipstick

Transform your look in a single stroke with Wayne’s take on the classic cream lipstick. The decadently plush formula glides on with a silky texture and leaves lips feeling comfortably hydrated for hours.

“What I love about these lipsticks is the pigmentation. Because the shades aren’t opaque, you can move up or down a shade that you might not have been able to use before. Your own lip still shines through!” — Wayne Goss

The lipstick bullets are contained in a sleek, round chrome tube and shiny finish squared, black body and cap theme. “Wayne Goss” is displayed as a wraparound text on both the tube and body for a nice, elegant simple design that’s identifiable, but not loud or obnoxious. The snap-on cap fits super securely and feels luxurious in the hand.

I could not decide which lipstick colors I wanted from the video I had previously watched. I narrowed my decision to two. Choosing colors from families that are not common in my makeup collection, one that looked versatile and happy for summer, and one that I could continue to wear late into this fall season.

The High Shine Gloss

The iconic ‘90s lip gloss, reinvented. The High Shine Gloss envelops lips in smooth, mirror-like shine that lasts all day and never gets sticky. Wear it alone or on top of your lip color for extra polish.

“These lip glosses feel amazing on the lips and add that touch of polish that instantly completes a look.” — Wayne Goss

I chose a brown, sparkly lip gloss. I’m always on the hunt for a gloss that I used to wear in college made by Revlon that has since been discontinued. It was a dual-ended, combo brown gloss with a glitter topper. I think this one is pretty close and will be gorgeous for late into fall.
