Book Policy

Hello! Books are my passion! I enjoy all kinds of reads. My favorite genres are historical nonfiction and science fiction. I particularly enjoy books that set out to educate, as well as books that are highly entertaining through outlandishly adventurous storylines and satire. I have a big heart for books that do both! A few of my other pastimes include traveling, gardening, crafting, baking, and photographing my journey along the way.

I have a strong passion to share my reads with others. I like to encourage readers to find books that they enjoy. I believe there is something for everyone! That is why I take the time to share my reads on my website and other social media. 

I promote books on my website, Instagram (on break), and Goodreads. I post reviews to retailers such as Barnes and Noble and Waterstones as indicated and include a hyperlink to Libro.fm audiobooks as available on my website posts.

With the joy that I take in photography, I make the mention of each book in a personal way by taking photos of the covers alongside a thematic background and use relevant hashtags to help cross promote and celebrate each book.

My turnaround time for reading and posting a review is 2-3 weeks (books approaching their publication date will be expedited to meet this). 

I am honest in my reviews in their praises and challenges as I discuss the overall premise of the book as well as details of execution of story through voice including but not limited to: writing style, pacing, tone, character development, favorite lines, and overall enjoyment.
