Spring Craft Haul 2024

Here is look at some of the adorable supplies I added for spring and summer card making this year.

I was able to get a few essential colored inks, embellishments, and pieces of seasonal and festive card stock for spring, going into late summer.

Nostalgic themes were popular over Christmas, namely the most search style was “pink vintage.” So I believe that trend will be carrying over.

Forecasts show people identifying with the need for serene and energized colors, and matching visual imagery. Many are wanting to get back into nature, with a fresh new start.

With girly, floral, and animal print stamps along with a varietal of rich floral prints on origami paper for accents, I think the cards will be darling.

Vintage Stamps

Floral Embellishments

A mix of old-fashioned style of cards and room for bright, cheery themes will allow me to pair colors and patterns with paper remnants I have tucked away.

Antiquing Paper

Amongst a few other items I got, I also want to try my hand at antiquing paper. Where you work a brown shade into either the body or edges of rough pressed paper with a sponge blending tool set.

Creative Crafting

Ribbon embellishments, bows, and ephemera snippets.

Fourth of July, western, and sunflower themed card stock.

Store bought card prices have increased dramatically and big box store aisles are half-empty.

With the uncertainty in the economy and less people purchasing certain craft items, most local and online fairs are also struggling this year. So I think I will refrain from entering bizarres anytime soon.

I’ll just replenish my own stock. I did get some Christmas holiday items, but you’ll see those coming closer to winter!

The joy in making and sending out homemade cards never ceases to make someone feel so thought of and special.

Nice haul! I have to make myself stay away from the craft stores. I have a whole she shed full of stuff to use first! But my craft I’ve been doing 100% lately is digital scrapbooking. That card in the very first picture is gorgeous!

Thank you so much! Yes, it’s so hard not to replenish in near and over-abundance sometimes! I was already thinking of how I should have gotten some more coastal-themed stamps I saw and forgot to add to my cart. Next time! I love digital as well, so fun!
